Do you get decision fatigue too?

Hey Reader,

December was quite the whirlwind. We closed out on 3.5 months RVing across the county, moved back into our house, and celebrated the holidays with family and friends.

But the last week or so has been a time for reflection, rest, and planning. You know your girl loves to plan. That blank new 2026 planner - ahhh yes.

But even though I do love to plan, going down the rabbit hole and delaying actually making a decision or taking action is a challenge for me sometimes...

It's definitely gotten better over the years, but when planning my own personal travel, I've been known to spiral and take hours comparing hotels, flights, tours, etc.

The thing that helps me the most when this happens is to simply step away, let some of those thoughts/plans marinate in my head a bit, and come back to the planning later. Once I take some time away from my computer, I'm able to go with my gut a lot quicker.

This helps with trip planning, but also with other life stuff too.

Get distracted with social media while you're supposed to be working? Step away, go for a walk, get a nice cup of coffee, put your phone in the other room, and come back to the work.

Hit reply and let me know what part about travel (or general life) planning stresses you out the most.

Talk soon,

Michelle
